Re: The new SVO Changelog
While we're at it, I added the 3 lines of code to make the Site buttons work on the main menu screen

Re: The new SVO Changelog
Don't have a lot of time on my hands at the moment but I'm planning to fix all warps for all maps on Wednesday evening. Once those are fixed, we should be able to roll out revision 5

Re: The new SVO Changelog
Everything seems to be taking longer than expected, some big uni/college projects popped up for both Darkfrost and myself, hence the delay.
We'll try to get those silly warps working again asap!

Re: The new SVO Changelog
Last week of the semester. I have to study during X-mas break but in the evenings I'll be working on content for the game (new maps most likely) so once we go up and running again you guys will have a whole lot more areas to explore (both in SVO and EB world).
As for when the server goes back online, I've tested the teleport/warps this weekend and there's something really bizarre going on so I've asked Darkfrost and aPhRo to look into it when they have some free time.
I know you all think development is extremely slow on our side, but we're just trying to make a decent game with as few bugs as possible. So in the end we gotta consider pushing back releases to fix bugs instead of releasing a buggy update that you guys won't enjoy either.

Re: The new SVO Changelog
Been coding a couple of things the last few days, for those who do not check my updates on the Version History page on the wiki, here's what's new for rev6 so far:
[New] New areas
[New] /pos command shows you your current map position
[New] /em or /me displays your text as an emotion
[New] Hit enter or space to focus the chatbox ingame
[New] Primitive party support (/invite to invite someone, /leave to leave)
[New] Additional server status message when server is offline
[New] Additional options (Define your own movement keys)
[Edit] Emoticons now use left ALT + the number keys
[Fix] Cleaned up the pre-ingame GUI some more
[Fix] A lot of warps
[Fix] More 'walls' fixes

Re: The new SVO Changelog
To those people who think the SVO world is empty right now, you're right. And I'm going to do something about that. In the next version I'll bring you... Orange Falls! The longtime members will remember this map as being both awesome and huge.
The SVO world will be quadrupled in size just by adding this area, if I got some time left I might even throw in a couple of enemies.

Orange Falls is complete now, the Twoson building insides are ripped and I'm in the process of adding them into the game.

Re: The new SVO Changelog
Twoson interiors are done, so is Shige Trails (connection bit between Port Jebuzz and Cave of the Giant).
Update: Cave of the Giant is done as well, too bad I won't be able to finish Itoison in time for the update, else the SVO world would've been a lot bigger still.

I added Itoison today, it's not completely finished but at least it's there and people can get to the cave and Shige Trails.
Note for the oldtimers: Itoison got a makeover, I kinda like it more than the old area.

Did some work on Peaceful Rest Valley and Happy Happy Village. I'll probably add both in the next update.

Re: The new SVO Changelog
All Earthbound areas i wanted to add in the upcoming revision are added, also added the good ol' GM tag as well as added the world selection images made by Cobalt. I'll probably clean up the character creation screens a bit more too.
