Thoughts on that P4 fighter? I'd really like to see Junpei in it.

I don't know much about the game honestly, I only saw one video in a livestream. I've never played any Persona game so I don't know any of the characters. I do know it's made by ArcSys, so that could eitehr be very bad (BlazBlue) or very good(Guilty Gear).

I consider BlazBlue to Guilty Gear what SF4 is to 3. It's a step down, but it gets you into the idea.

I still enjoy watching high level play of poor fighters even though I dislike actually playing them. Hopefully this game will be somewhere between GG and BB, like that other GG style fighter being developed.

From these videos I'm looking at, MC (Yu being his canon name) looks pretty close to Ragna in terms of style. He's even got a Belial Edge sort of move for groundbouncing. Yosuke looks like some kind of Hazama/Bang hybrid, which mite b cool. Those were the characters I wanted to play that weren't Tao or Ragna.

It never really dawned how few projectile moves BB has until I look at this. "This" being a combo exhibition for five of the characters.

They're putting in a lot of innovative things in that game.

I'm a little torn on some of their decisions, like high/low crossups being impossible. I can understand it, but part of a 3v3 fighter is doing stuff like that. I guess it really doesn't matter. Then again, we might not see much variety in teams because of the small roster.

Although there is a choice to just have one character with LODSAHEALTH.

I was looking forward to squigly, but they shoved her & umbrella for DLC when they announced Valentine and Double. Valentine looks pretty cool, but Double looks rather boring.

Have either of you played Battle Fantasia? I subscribed to Playstation+ recently and it was one of the freebies (SF2 is also on the freebie list if you're interested.) I played it a bit, and I'm not much of a fighter connoisseur, but It seems pretty fun. Seems to be one of those easy to learn, hard to master sort of games. It has an anime art style (Which maybe a hit or miss for some of you) and all the characters speak japanese (but it has english subtitles).

By the way, how bad am i at fighting games, that i was playing MvC3 for approximately 13-16 hours (no not all at once) and yet my friend (who had maybe played the game minutes before this encounter) was kicking my butt after the first match? Granted, he was pretty good at MvC2...

Interesting choice of words; he IS gay. lol I only had the first version of the game, not Ultimate. I can't remember what characters he used though. It was a while ago.
