You sufferin from cognitive dissonance?
I keep complaining about ULTRA combos because they are a COMEBACK MECHANIC.
I specifically said that the super system was good because you earned meter for it from playing well, whereas with ultras you do not! Quit trying to defend poor fighting games.

I'm trying to show you that the two balance each other.

How does boasting the Super system which is perfectly fine and unrelated to the Ultra system defend it in any way?

That's what you sound like.

The center of my argument which I have said many times is that the difference between the super system and ultra system is that one rewards good play and one rewards bad play.

I asked you, how does holding bad players hands help them in any way? Shouldn't players who lose get better? Instead of being given an artificial victory?

Yes Supers and Ultras do have risks, but if you're a good player (Which i highly suspect you aren't) You'd be smart enough to combo into them. (Unless you're a grappler or using a counter ultra)

YeOldeHobo, quit bitching about this thread, it makes you look pathetic (almost as pathetic as when you were actually trying to defend a George Lucas cash grab game centered around the Star Wars Prequels that was nothing more than <X Space Shooter> with Find Space Marines/Replace Clone Troopers).

As for Ultras, the only people who would like the system are people who are terrible at fighters.

Street Fighter IV is godawful compared to Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, as Capcom effectively ripped out every system made for strong players and filled it up with overly noob-friendly mechanics.

Tech blocking was obviously way too hard, so they replaced it with the much easier to pull off and much worse Focus Attacks, and god forbid we give the strongest moves to people who can pull off more special moves, so Ultras were put in to give the people who take the most abuse a way of winning the round instantly with no skill whatsoever.

Don't even get me started about Ultras being seen a mile away, as you have obviously never played competitively against an Abel using Ultra 2.

EDIT: Ah, just realized you used the term "ponyfag", was waiting for you to do something that could be considered actual flaming instead of just 4chan-grade trolling :D

someone tell me what we were talking about again, the thread just went full retard.
just lock the damn thread already and make a MLP discussion thread. nice and easy, nobody gets flamed or trolled, and people can talk about whatever the f uck they want. no trolling attemtps and all of that stuff.

god damn, i swear topics like this one make people bring the worst out of themselves.

"Any Bronies Here?" this is a bad thread name (IMO). why is that? the word brony. I mean, look, there are people like yeoldehobo and several others will automatically assume the worst definition of the word brony. which old and young little pieces of s hit who enjoy a show about ponies and friendshit, who do nothing more than produce a stain in the carpet we call life, always defiling everything we call sacred with their pony verisons of everything, and trying to drown us in their damn horrible horse s hit.

and theny they will proceed to flame and or troll any brony in such topics, doing what you did is just aaaasking for trouble, did ALL OF YOU eexpect to have a nice thread to talk about ponies and such? no, it all goes to f ucking flames the first second you mention bronies.

oh and dont think i hate bronies just because of what i have mentioned (or lack thereof), i am incapable of giving a d'oh! about MLP, bronies and the like. what i am giving a d'oh! to in this post, is how retarded someone can be when discussing this, how f ucking far someone can go to shove their ideals down our throats and how angry it makes me when people argue about something so f ucking tiny such as this.

what i'm just trying to say is: f uck you and and have a good day

I think it's fairly obvious what the thread was intended for, c0mp1337, and if you'd paid attention, you'd realize YeOldeHobo has been spending over a month derailing it (I guess he's dedicated?), and you are certainly not helping in the least.

While you have tried to make your stance on neutrality, it's fairly obvious that you are just trying to flame-bait and derail the thread further (though a new discussion thread is not a half bad idea). Oh, and the word-filter circumvention? Definitely not going to help your case :P

Anyways, new thread will be started and I will emphasize this: flaming, trolling, derailing or any such shenanigans will not be overlooked.

You "anti-bronies" go on and on about how you are "above" fans of the show, yet you always go to such great lengths to make complete asses of yourselves :D

Are you american? Yeah? You must be a loud mouth BuzzBuzz stealin and beatin others for fun...
You Mexican? here's a dollar, go clean my house.

I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to internet customs, but to assume to worst of a term? If that ain't bias I don't know what is.
The title of the thread is simple and understandable "Any Bronies here?". And judging by it you would easily assume I don't KNOW that some people here dislike bronies.

In the original post for this thread
"/)^3^(\ Why Wub Woo
Any Bronies in here? Who's your favorite pony?
Mine's Twilight Sparkle."

I simply asked if there were any bronies and who was your favorite pony. Is there so much wrong in that? And I clearly got some responses that were mostly positive and some negative. My question was answered and some people discussed the show, I engaged in conversation with them (or rather one of them), some threads of fighting games, ponified garbage, politics and so on. You arrive at that.

(Edit: Dang Zack, You outposted me hard)

New thread is up, this one will be locked to prevent further derailing, and I encourage YeOldeHobo to make a Capcom Fighting Games General thread instead of making the same mistake he did in here when he's back from his stay in the Lemongrab Dungeons :D
